Babysitter’s Training
This course provides youth who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. This training will help participants to develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business; keep themselves and others safe; help children behave; and learn about basic child care and basic first aid. Prerequisite: Students must be 11 years old by the last day of the class.
Dog and Cat First Aid
Do you know what to do if your pet suddenly gets sick? This course will help you learn how to protect your dog’s and cat’s health, how to administer medications, how to be prepared for an emergency with your pet, how to know if it is a medical emergency and recognizing and caring for breathing or heart emergencies. Participants learn and practice skills on dog and cat manikins throughout the course. Fee includes your choice of Dog or Cat First Aid Book.
Community First Aid/CPR– Adult/Child/Infant
Learn how to recognize and care for victims of injury or sudden illness. Learn to care for victims of all ages; rescue breathing, CPR, AED and choking. EVERYONE should know how to respond to an emergency. Take the appropriate steps to assist in helping others in your community– the first step is taking this class.
Citizen CPR
This skill class increases the victim’s odds of survival significantly! Learn compression only CPR and help save a life!
There is no prerequisite for this class or age requirement! This program is excellent for Girls Scout or Boy Scout groups; schedule available as needed. Call Cathy at 610-317-8701
Car Show- Truck Touch
Saturday, June 2, 2012- expanding our reach to all cars, cycles, and trucks we are hosting a car show along side the Truck Touch this year.
