Hanover Preschool
Hanover Preschool offers programs for children 3 to 5 years old.
Young 3’s Program Monday/Wednesday 9:30-12:00 (Must be 3 by January 31st)
Young 3’s learn best through exploration and play. Our staff blends in just the right amount of structure and teacher-directed activities to create a day full of fun and learning.
3 Year Old Program Tuesday/Thursday 9:00-11:30 or 12:00-2:30 (Must be 3 by Oct. 1st)
Our 3 year old program focuses on socialization. Children work individually as well as in small groups as they play and participate in hands-on activities. Brief periods of teacher-directed and whole group activities are also part of the daily routine.
4 Year Old Program Monday/Wednesday/Friday 9:00-11:30 or 12:30-3:00 (Must be 4 by Oct. 1st)
Our 4 year old program provides a balance of teacher-directed academics with exploration and individual choices. The staff encourages independence and responsibility through daily activities. Preparation for kindergarten is the focus of this program.
Pre-K Monday/ Tuesday/ Wednesday/Thursday 12:30-3:00 (Must be 5 by Jan. 31st or by teacher recommendation)
Our Pre-K program prepares children for kindergarten by encouraging independence, responsibility and strengthening academic skills. Pre-reading, pre-math and writing skills are introduced and reinforced through classroom activities. The opportunity to play and explore is also provided.
*Due to the fact that all of our classes have low teacher/child ratios we are able to practice differentiated instruction. Each child is taught at his/her level of ability in a safe and nurturing environment.
